RVNAhealth (formerly Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association) provides home and community healthcare services as well as special programs that help seniors and their families. Visit rvnahealth.org or call 438-5555.

R.U.O.K., sponsored and supported by the Ridgefield Women’s Club and the Ridgefield Firefighters’ Association, offers a free service of daily telephone calls to check on safety. Call (203) 438-6777.

Transportation

F.I.S.H. (Friends In Service Here) provides fee transportation for medical and therapy appointments for seniors or disabled residents of Ridgefield. Call (203) 438-8044.

Rides for Ridgefield is a transportation provider alliance that can put you in touch with service that fits your needs for a ride.  Call (203) 894-RIDE (7433) Monday through Friday, 10:00 am - 2:00 pm or visit RidesForRidgefield.org.

Town Bus The Town of Ridgefield offers a free weekly bus route. The schedule may be found on the Town website at ridgefieldct.org/community/pages/town-bus-loop.

SweetHART Demand response transportation is provided by HARTransit to Ridgefield residents for transportation within the community and, on a limited basis, to Danbury. Service is available with advanced reservations to Ridgefield residents who are 65 years or older and those with mobility disabilities.
