Peter Bancel has been teaching sitting meditation and mindfulness practice at Founder’s Hall since 2022. A long-time practitioner of buddhist meditation, Peter first met meditation as a graduate student at the University of Pennsylvania in the 1980s. Since that first encounter, he has studied and practiced with several Tibetan meditation masters, and engaged in numerous retreats. He has been a meditation instructor for over 20 years, teaching classes and weekend seminars on how to bring mindfulness into everyday life. Peter divides his time between professional activities in Paris, France and Ridgefield, his primary residence.
