In this colored pencil course, we will study how to depict your chosen landscape in Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter. In addition to studying the more obvious changes in the landscape, we will cover the proper hues and tones with which to color shadows on grass vs snow, which shade of green to choose for vegetation in spring vs autumn, etc. Materials: Shetching pencil for ideas and taking notes, 9×12 pad of Canson XL Mixed Media white paper, a set of colored pencils (wax-based or watercolor pencils), hand-held sharpener, a pocket folder for storing weekly reference sheets.
