Think of Jack Nicholson’s obsessions in ‘As Good as it Gets,’ or Katherine Hepburn walking with one high heel as she explains she was born on the side of a mountain in ‘Bringing Up Baby.’ Writing and acting are all in these films. But watch out! Once in a while someone slips in plot curves we don’t expect – the story careens out of control. This is the Screwball Comedy.’ We’ll take in both this Summer.
