Meditation – For Those Who Don’t and Those Who Do
Meditation is a simple way to slow down, and reconnect with basic living. Settling down by just sitting mindfully helps us relax with ourselves and be more available for others. It’s a simple mental hygiene that refreshes. Many of us sense this, but have trouble to get down to it. This class will be about getting down to doing some meditation. As in previous classes at Founders Hall, we’ll cover the basics and learn how to bring it into our daily lives. We will continue with Pema Chodron’s book, ‘How to Meditate: A Practical Guide to Making Friends with Your Mind.’ The class is open to all. Beginners are welcome! Those who’ve already taken a Founders Hall meditation class are are welcome to join and go further.
