Have you wanted to know more about Flamenco, the beautiful art form that hails from Southern Spain? Well, come learn by doing! We will start off by reviewing what we learned in Intro to Flamenco: the basic arm and foot elements in the 4-count Tangos rhythm. Then we will move on to the more complex 12-count rhythms – the true heart and soul of Flamenco. The course will conclude with the Sevillanas, a folk dance performed all over Southern Spain in the ferie (festivals) during April every year. No dance experience necessary – just a love of learning something new. Ole! Class will not meet April 7, April 14 or May 12.
