Ever wanted to know more about Flamenco, the beautiful dance that hails from Southern Spain? Well, come learn by doing! We will continue what we started in earlier sessions, but new students are welcome. We will be working in the Tangos, a simple 4-count rhythm perfect for flamenco beginners. We will work on posture, arms, hand flourishes (floreos), simple marking steps and basic footwork — all while focusing on the compas, the rhythmic structure that is the foundation for all flamenco. No dance experience necessary – just a love of learning something new. Ole! Class will not meet October 11 or November 8.
